Meals

Included in our minimal registration fee, are lunch and an afternoon snack for each child daily.  If a child is on a special diet or prefers to bring lunch and snack from home, our staff will arrange for proper storage to ensure that your child will receive his or her lunch in good condition.

 

Field Trips

Seven exciting Field Trips will be planned - one for each week of our camp.  Three of the seven field trips will be paid for by YEP Camp. Parents will be advised in advance of the cost of the additional four field trips.

Camp Hours

The YEP Summer Camp will operate between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday June 14–July 30, 2010 except for public holidays. The Children’s Trust requires that children accepted to our program attend at least 6 of the 7 weeks that the camp is operational.

Parents Participation

During the seven weeks of camp, parents will be given the opportunity to visit or campus, participate in panel discussions, meet our staff and exchange ideas that will better meet their children’s needs.

There will be 3 special events for parents, which will be scheduled after regular camp hours.  Guest speakers will be invited to discuss topics relevant to children and families as well as other current events, and the children will prepare and serve snacks at each event.  These special parent activities and seminars are presented at no additional cost to parents.

Camp Registration Fees & Cost

The true cost of the YEP summer program is just under $200.00 per week for each child. However, along with the funding from The Children’s Trust, we rely on the generosity of parents, our church members and members of the community to support the cost of the camp.  Parents are required to pay a small one-time registration fee of $45.00 per child.  In addition, parents will be given an opportunity to make voluntary donations to the camp in amounts and frequency as personal finances may afford.

Before and After Care

YEP regular Camp hours are 9:00am – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

We offer ‘Before and After’ care services at a minimal weekly fee, to facilitate parents with extended work schedules.

Fees

 

  • Before Care (7:30 am - 8:30am) - $25.00 per week per child
  • After care    (5:00 pm - 6:00pm) - $25.00 per week per child
  • Combined (Before & After care) - $40.00 per week per child
