About Us
Our Mission
Unity Center of Miami is a christian organization and is the host of our annual Youth Expressing Powerfully (YEP) Summer Camp. The Mission of Unity Center of Miami is to teach, empower and support adults and children in the transformation of their lives through knowing their Oneness with God.
The Unity campus is on a 5-acre property located at 16320 SW 147th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33187, within easy access of the Kendall, Richmond Heights, Fairway Lakes, Perrine, Cutler Ridge, and Homestead, communities. The YEP camp experience is enhanced by our access to this beautiful property, which houses a butterfly garden planted by our campers two years ago. Our camp provides an environment where children will strengthen their existing academic and social skills through various scheduled activities including games, art, music, dance, aerobics, physical education and exciting Field Trips. Children will also have hands-on computer training and learn the skills of prosperity principles, basic banking operations, and money management.Our Location

Inclusion Policy
Unity Center of Miami in an inclusion program and complies with all standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Children with special needs are not excluded from participation in any activities or programs unless, after an individualized assessment, a reasonable accommodation cannot be made without fundamentally altering the program. Our administrative staff and trained camp counselors are dedicated to ensuring that our summer camp is a positive experience for every child who is accepted to our program.
Volunteer Opportunities
YEP Summer Camp offers volunteer opportunities for Adults, College, and High School seniors and will cover the cost of the Background Screening required by The Children’s Trust.
